SACHIN PILOT AND ASHOK GEHLOT POLITICAL                   CONTROVERCY  IN RAJASTHAN (BJP VS CONGRESS)

A major political controversy in the state of Rajasthan between the former deputy chief minster and state congress president Sachin pilot and Ashok gehlot, the running chief minister of Rajasthan state.

Rajasthan CM called Sachin pilot on Monday a ‘’nikamma-nakara(idle-worthless)’’ who would fo down in history as the first PCC president to be involved in toppling  to his own government with the opposition.

New Delhi: In a stunning revelation, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot claimed that former Deputy CM Sachin pilot had been plotting the fall of his government since its formation. Saying they were not on talking terms for the last one-and-a-half-years, Gehlot said that Pilot was playing the victim card over Special Operation Group (SOG) notice to him.

Gehlot gave this statement while talking to a TV channel and further said that people of Rajasthan wanted him as CM adding that he will hug Pilot if he comes back.
According to a report by TOI, Gehlot said the news over his tiff with Pilot over all these years is enough for a book saying that in democracy even arch-rivals talks.

While the Congress has accused the BJP of trying to topple the Congress government in Rajasthan by bribing Congress MLAs, BJP rejected claims with spokesperson Sambit Patra saying that the grand old party is frustrated as it is unable to put its house in order.

Rajasthan Congress continues to remain in turmoil after over simmering differences between Sachin Pilot and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot after it came out in the open following which Pilot was sacked from the posts of Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and state PCC president on July 14.

'Congress Doors open for Sachin Pilot'( Subha bula sham ko ghar wapas ahh jayeh toh use bula nahi kehteh)

A controversy had broken out in Rajasthan after Special Operation Group (SOG) sent a notice to Pilot to record his statement in the case registered by SOG in the alleged poaching of Congress MLAs in the state.

While Pilot has said he will not be joining the BJP, a Congress national leader in Jaipur has said that the party’s doors are still open for the former Deputy CM because

former party president Rahul Gandhi has instructed that despite all the provocation, he should be given another chance.

The Congress alleged that while the BJP tried to destroy democracy in Rajasthan, it was only bothered about why its actions were being recorded.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday demanded to know whether the Congress government in Rajasthan had indulged in phone-tapping, after audio clips surfaced of two MLAs of the ruling party allegedly talking to a Union minister, ANI reported. The party said it wants a Central Bureau of Investigation inquiry into the matter, to ascertain whether there was phone tapping.
The Congress had used the clips to claim that horse-trading had been taking place, with the BJP colluding with the dissident Sachin Pilot faction in the Rajasthan Congress.
“The state government should answer whether they indulged in phone tapping, as the Chief Minister [Ashok Gehlot] and other leaders are saying that the audio is authentic, whereas in the first information report it is mentioned as ‘purported’,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said. “Is there an emergency situation in Rajasthan? Are all political parties being targeted this way?”
The Congress hit back, calling for an independent investigation into the BJP’s “nefarious activities” in Rajasthan. “Who is providing all this black money and where did it come from?” the party asked in a tweet.

Congress Spokesperson Pawan Khera alleged that while the BJP was trying to destroy democracy in Rajasthan, it was only bothered about why its actions were being recorded while it was doing so.
On Friday, the Congress suspended dissident MLAs Bhanwar Lal Sharma and Vishvendra Singh for allegedly plotting with the BJP to overthrow the government in Rajasthan, accusing them of talking to Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The Congress also demanded a warrant against Shekhawat. Shekhawat however rejected the allegations and said he is willing to be investigated.
The dissident legislators filed a petition in the Rajasthan High Court, which on Friday directed the Speaker not to take any action against them till July 21.
Special Operations Group of the Rajasthan Police was sent to Manesar in Gurugram on Friday, to seek out the MLAs who are holed up in a hotel. Particularly, the team wanted to question Bhanwar Lal Sharma. But they were stopped and detained at the entrance for nearly an hour before being allowed to go in. The Congress cited this as evidence of a BJP conspiracy to destabilise the Gehlot-led government in Rajasthan.
